  • During his career, Johnson has been responsible for the sale of several key transactions, including the Ormsby House Hotel and Casino, Capital Plaza Business Center, Nye Lane Office Complex, Parkway Professional Complex and the Sierra Medical Center.
  • He also successfully purchased and rehabilitated an entire city block of buildings in the Historic Downtown area of Carson City.
  • Johnson's designatiions include Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the Northern Nevada Development Authority (NNDA).
  • In addition, Johnson has served on several bank boards, as well as chairman of the Regional Planning Commission and the Regional Redevelopment Authority.

  • Daniel Shaheen serves as an Advisor for Sperry Van Ness, Gold Dust Commercial Associates, specializing in property management of office, retail and industrial property in the greater Reno and Carson City area. With 11 years of commercial real estate experience, Shaheen has secured over 70 transactions.
  • Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Shaheen served as Corporate Broker for Parkway Commercial Properties in Carson City, Nevada, where he was in charge of all sales activity, leasing and property management for the company. Previously, Shaheen served as the property manager for R.L. Shaheen Company, a prominent Carson City commercial real estate developer, where he handled management and leasing of approximately 400,000 square feet of office and industrial properties.
  • During his career, Shaheen has successfully negotiated leases with national companies including Federal Express, Lincare and Edward Jones Investments, as well as large state entities such as the Nevada State Gaming Control Board, the Department of Taxation, and the Agency for Nuclear Projects. He is currently working towards the CPM [Certified Property Manager] designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management.
  • Shaheen attended the University of Nevada, Reno for two years before moving to Los Angeles in 1986 to work in the entertainment industry in television production and tour management. He returned to the Reno area in 1998.
