At the beginning of March, our SVN Gold Dust team traveled to New Mexico to participate in the annual SVN National Conference. Over the course of the conference, our team took part in numerous seminars, networking events, and team building activities. This year’s conference had a very intimate feel, held in a retreat like atmosphere. This correlated well with the theme of collaboration and relationship building.
The SVN network is vast and through collaboration we can better serve our clients. As a member of the SVN network we are able to leverage the national and international reach, while also homing in on the local expertise that we have at our finger tips. As the former Maytan Music Building, 777 was purchased by the Johnson family, owners of the full service brokerage firm SVN | Gold Dust Commercial Associates. The Johnson family undertook a complete remodel starting from the inside out while retaining some historically significant pieces from the original building including the mural painted on the wall of the north parking lot. With no architectural significance in the former building, SVN decided to tear-down and re-create the building’s layout and flow bringing in a shared courtyard and deck off of the second floor. Architect Jack Hawkins specializes in modern layouts and has completed similar work in the midtown area making the decision to hire him effortless. Leases have been signed on three of the four restaurant units currently while street retail and office/loft space remains. Contact the SVN office in downtown Reno for more details on rates and availability.
